Toor dal - 1 Cup
Moong dal - 1 Cup
Urad dal - 1 Cup
Chana dal - 1 Cup
Oil- 1 tbsp
Dry chilli - 10-12
Cumin seeds (optional)
Procedure:
1. In a pan, fry each dal separately without oil and keep aside.
2. With little oil, fry the dry mirchi ( you can add cumin seeds too if you want)
3. Grind all the dals once they are cooled down.
4. Now, grind the fried dry chillies, cumin seeds together with salt and add this mixture to the previously grinded dal mixture.
This can be preserved for longer periods.
